Kelly Martin
Vestry, Class of 2026
Kelly grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and moved to the Philadelphia area in 2005 with her husband, Jason. A life-long educator, Kelly has taught in both public and private schools to children ranging from ages three to thirteen. She has also served as Director of Children and Family Ministry in a Presbyterian Church where she developed a love for Godly Play and created programming based on that model for spiritual formation. Kelly started attending St. Martins with her husband and their three children Lily (16), Lucy (13) and Sam (9) in 2021. She quickly got involved with Women Connecting and the Saturday morning Bible Study. Being somewhat new to The Episcopal Church, she has a fondness for the liturgy and an appreciation for the way St. Martin’s is both confessional and inclusive. Kelly recently and enthusiastically joined the steering committee of Wellspring. She is excited to see how her work and involvement on the Vestry can lead to more opportunities and engagement for the children, youth and parents of the St. Martins’ community.Â
