Gary Glazer

Vestry, Class of 2027

Gary and Cathy Glazer have been members of St. Martin’s Church for about 12 years. Cathy has served as a member of the vestry, a delegate to the Diocesan Convention, a devoted caretaker of the Columbarium and a moderator for two bible study groups. Gary’s faith journey culminated in his baptism at St. Martins in November 2019. He has been active as an acolyte, a lector and an intercessor. He is also involved in food delivery to St. Luke’s and actively participates in Tuesday night bible study. He retired after serving 30 years as a judge of the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia but still works as a senior judge settling cases before trial. He is also an adjunct instructor at Villanova Law School and has volunteered his services to an 8th grade class at St. Raymond's of Penafort School in Mount Airy teaching civics education. Gary has also been extensively involved in continuing legal education programs and led court reform efforts in the Philadelphia court system.
