This month is an opportunity for us to come together in support, recognition, and celebration of Black History; as relevant and important today in 2025 as it was when it was first acknowledged by Black educators and Black United Students at Kent State University in 1970.
On February 23, we will welcome staff and choir members from the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas to join us for a special service of Choral Evensong featuring music by exclusively Black composers. Our first collaboration together!
As part of our Adult Forum Series on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., we will again host a series of Discussions in Diversity. Please see below for details about this interesting and varied lineup. A community meal, our Food & Fellowship hour, is open to all at 6 p.m. each Wednesday.
Through February, our Sunday Choral Eucharists will feature music by composers of color, highlighting the work of underrepresented musical voices in worship.
Please, mark your planners and join us for these important events and service. Spread the word, bring your friends, invite a neighbor.
