Equipping the Saints Fund grants supply funding to members doing extraordinary work in community engagement locally, nationally, and internationally. Grants in this category have funded Community Organizing Training with the PICO National Network, mission travel to Guatemala and Africa, as well as supplies for various emergency feeding projects lead by our members. Applications for Equipping the Saints funding can be directed to the Outreach Committee.
On January 2, 2014 Barbara Dundon will fly to Kenya to spend 2 weeks recording the stories of girls who are living in a safehouse there with their babies - children they had against their will. The audio stories she produces will be used to raise money for Imara International: ImaraInternational.org, a fledgling nonprofit. On Christmas Eve 2013 we will bless prayer shawls made for the girls by parishioners.
