Choir Camp Rehearsal 2013Join St. Martin’s for a week of music, fun, games, and worship as children learn the basics of choral singing and leading worship!

Choir Camp runs Monday, July 31st - Friday, August 4th, from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Early arrival is at 8:30 a.m. Our program is open to rising 2nd graders through rising 8th graders. Church membership is not required; we welcome children of any faith / religious background. Daily sung services are from a Christian perspective.

All camp registration includes lunch daily, a t-shirt, and Friday trip costs / museum entry.

Volunteer to make our youth’s Choir Camp experience sing!
Adult Volunteers are needed to help with Choir Camp on Monday through Thursday, July 31-August 4 (choir camp continues on Friday, but does not need help that day). You duties will be:

8:30 - arrive and sign-in the campers
10:00 - set up & clean up snack
12:00 - cook & serve lunch
12:30 - clean up lunch (the campers help out with this)
3:30 - sign-out the campers

Every day, at 1:00, there is a concert in the church that you are invited to attend; also, the campers sing daily Evensong at 3:00. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Erik Meyer. Email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to volunteer!

Sign up now to be part of the energetic cadre of teen and adult volunteers who make this fun week happen!
Our popular Vacation Bible School program, which we hold in conjunction with City Camp, a program of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, returns this year from Aug. 7 to Aug. 11. Volunteers help shepherd grade-level groups, prepare lunch and afternoon snack, and help with registration and set up. The daily camp program is run by camp counselors from the diocese. Volunteers aged 12 and up only, please. We’ll send more detailed information on meetings and logistics later in the summer. For more information contact The Rev. Our program runs Monday, August 7th - Friday, August 11th, from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., and is open to rising 1st through 7th graders. All camp registration includes lunch daily and a t-shirt.

Morning prayer is offered at 7:30 a.m. weekdays, in the Mary Chapel.

Silent morning meditation is offered at 8:15 a.m. weekdays, in the Mary Chapel.

Mid-week Eucharist is offered at 12:15 p.m. Wednesdays, in the Mary Chapel.

Compline is offered at 7:00 p.m. on 2nd & 4th Wednesdays, in the Church.

Choral Evensong is offered at 5:00 p.m. on 1st Sundays, in the Church.

This Episcopal church is located in the heart of the historic neighborhood of Chestnut Hill, five blocks west of Germantown Avenue at the corner of St. Martin’s Lane and West Willow Grove Avenue.
