Every three years, the high schoolers from St. Martin’s prepare to go on a pilgrimage, or spiritual journey, to learn more about themselves, God, and the world around them. Our destination in 2009, 2012, and 2015 was Borderlands Ranch in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We learned about and participated in Lakota culture, explored the beauty of the land, had plenty of time for bonding and self-reflection, and much hilarity ensued!
The next pilgrimage will be in 2018 to South Dakota or Navajoland (more information TBA). Stay tuned!
